Located at Snow King Resort, this tube park has been delighting people of all ages for five years now. Wildlife Viewing Tours (year round)
The winter months are the best time of year to get a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that western Wyoming has to offer. As the snow piles up at higher elevations, animals such elk, mule deer, and antelope migrate to valley floor and make themselves visible to humans for the first time in many months. The National Museum of Wildlife Art (year round)
Innovatively designed, the museum’s sandstone building overlooks the National Elk Refuge and brings together more than 2300 works of art from the early 19th century to the present. The museum features twelve exhibition galleries showcasing a permanent collection of wildlife art – the nation’s largest collection of works by wildlife master artist Carl Rungius, the art and artifacts of John Clymer, a rotating installation from the Gilcrease Museum, and the Habitat for Young People experience gallery. The museum overlooks the National Elk Refuge.
